Simple and straightforward

Our application procedure is simple and straightforward and we will guide you through the process. As we are local, we try to be very understanding of local needs and can offer some loans with 'payment holidays'. Many families would benefit from a planned payment holiday, for example in December or January. If so, the loan can be set up that way.

MCF Loans, just like any responsible lender, will only make loans that it expects to be repaid.

MCF Loans will not offer a loan if it means that an individual will just get further into debt. In these cases, we may, with the customer's agreement, direct them to other agencies that may be able to help.

Payments by direct debit

MCF Loans is not a cash handling business. We pay loans and take payments by direct debit, directly via the customer's bank account. If you haven't got a bank account, we can help you open a NatWest Basic bank account at your local MCF branch.

Credit almost at high street rates

MCF Loans interest rates are slightly higher than the banks and building societies for an equivalent loan. Customers who come to us because they can't get affordable credit will not be disappointed. If their application is successful, they will get credit almost at high street rates.
